M’ELLINGd’ON, Now, ‘2B. Among ‘the changes notified in the New Zealand military forces, arc the following:— Major-General R. Young has been . granted ,’an extensi on of two years to his period of appointment os Commandant.

Captain A. le G. Campbell (Highhind Light (Infantry, on exchange from the. British Army in India), having left New Zealand, relinquishes his appointment of Adjutant to the First Battalion, Wellington Regiment.

Captain L. W. Andrew, having returned from a tour of exchange with the British Army in India, is appointed Adjutant to the First Battalion, Wellington Regiment. Captain F. L. Hunt relinquishes Ms appointment iis Area Office, Area No 11A, Dunedin, to which post Lieutenant A. H. L. Sugden, who has returned from a tour of exchange with the British Army in India, has been appointed. Lieut. J. R. Page, having completed his training at Sandhurst and his attachment to the. King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, lias returned to New Zealand this month,- and is appointed Area 'Officer, Area 5 A. Wellington. Lieut. H. G. Woller, who returned to New Zealand last month after completing his training at Sandhurst and his attachment to the Buffs (East Kent Regiment) is attached to Area 5 A, Wellington. Lieut.-Col. H. C. Hemphill, North Auckland Mounted Rifles, relinquishes his command of the regiment and is transferred to the reserve of officers.
