In the House' of Representatives yesterday, the Land and Income Ta>: Amendment Bill was put through Committee. ' Hon, Forbes agreed to insert an amendment in the hardship clause Wording that due consideration would be given to “any fair and reasonable grounds whatsoever,” and when this was done Reform members allowed their amendments to be dropped, and the 'Bill as amended was reported to the v House. he third reading is to be taken .to-mor-row (Friday).
