OPIUM SEIZURE

SYDNEY, Sept. 20. , Tavo hundred and seventy-six tins Of opium valued at about £3OOO Ayere discovered by customs' officers in a secret cupboard aboard the steamer Tanda lying at AVoolioomooloo Bay. The illegal cargo, .which, was concealed in a concrete bed in a linen chest, is one of the largest hauls for many years.
