Eleven robberies from suburban houses had a sequel in die Police Court when Cyril Patterson, aged 21, and Thomas Henry Mclntyre, aged 21, pleaded guilty to all eleven charges of theft, and Hector Do paid Conolly, aged 19, to five of eleven charges. The police /said all three _ accused were out on license from a borstal institution and. started the robberies 13 days after their release. Condiiy bad left to take up work at Helensyille after five robberies had been committed, and Patterson and Mclntyre then carried on by themselves. Patterson and Mclntyre were- sentenced to three years’ reformative detention, and Conolly to two years’ reformative detention.
