NEW AERIAL TRAIL. \ MONTREAL, June 4. / ■ Attempts to blaze a new aerial trail between Europe and North America are being made this month by two groups of airmen. Mr and Mr Cramer are making a second effort to fly from Rockford, 111., to Stockholm, Sweden, and three Swedish airmeny.i'G'qpfcain Ahrenberg, Lieut. Floden, and Mr Ljunglund, are leaving Stockholm on Thursday for New York via Bergen (Norway), Reykjavik (Iceland) ,Ivigtut (Greenland), and Anticosti Island (Quebec).
Captain Ahrenberg and his companions will use a Junkers all-metal monoplane, powered with three Junkers LV. 360 h.p. engines. The machine is named the Sverige (Swedish for Sweden), and the flight is planned to Lake 2£ days. The journey to Reykjavik from Stockholm, is expected to take 17 hours and from Reykjavik to Ivigutut, about 10 hours. Mr Bangsted, the Danish author, has already deft for Greenland with, a mechanic in order to make preparation lor the airmen’s reception and servicing at Ivigutut He will also render assistance to Messrs Hassell and Cramer, who are expected to arrive at about the same time as the aviators from
