Japanese marines stationed at Hankow sinctApril, 1927, will be withdrawn on May 3’lst, a day prior to the funeral of Sun Vat Sen, as an appropriate mark of respect to the late Kuomintaiig founder. Further, the Japanese are agreeing to compensate families of collies killed by marines.
Simultaneously, the Chinese ordered the immediate cessation of anti-Japan-ese activities. All goods seized are to ' e returned and also the prohibition ol •further seizures.
Although Nanking decided to carry 'out the funeral arrangements on the original date, thereby postponing the punitive expedition against Fengyuhsiang, there is a possibility of upsetting in the event of Feng continuing railway destruction.
