TIMBER STRIKE
RAPIDLY WEAKENING
(Received this day at 12.25. p.m.) -MELBOURNE, April lb.
There is every indication that the timber strike is rapidly weakening. Several mills and yards now have full staffs. Jt is expected there will be a return to normal conditions in industry within a few weeks, whether the strike collapses or not.
