• The skeleton of Ned Kelly, Australia’s most notorious bushranger, who was hanged at Melbourne gaol in 1880, lias been unearthed from. the flagged yard of the gaol’ The bones,were exposed when a steam sliov.el tore the lid from the rough coffin. Immediately the bones were taken by workmen as mementos, even the teeth were remov. ed from the jaw.
