La I’erelle regretting inability to accept invitation at present.--Received. From .Blackball Caledonian Pipe bind offering services during Demontratiou on certain terms.—Received. V reply to be sent regretting inability to accept offer. From Station master, Hokitika, statng arrangements were being made for i through train from Hokitika on '.loiulay, Alareli -Ith; also that a special train would lie arranged for the ■xcuision to Lake Alaliimipua.—Re•cived. It was considered that uc.•ommodation would be required for "00 to 800 on that day, From AVaonini Fireworks Company. liristehurcli, submitting proposals for Reworks display.—Received and offer icccpted. Tlie Mayor reported that the guarintee fund canvass had not been comiloted but lie could safely stale that bis would be highly satisfactory. Reports from the several Sub-Com-nittces were received, showing that lattcrs were being put in band. After a number of matters were dis - ussed Hie meeting terminated.
