Lord Ryrio made his first public ap. penranee since liis illness at Australia Day celebration at St. Dunstan’s East. There was a large congregation. The rector, Arthur West, read a telegram despatched to the Queen on behalf ol the congregation, recording gratitude to God for the King’s returning strength. At the end of the service the rector read a reply stating: “The Queen gratefully appreciated the loyal kind message of deep sympathy in the King’s illness. Her Majesty is touched by the fervent good wishes expressed for the King’s continued progress nml oilers one and all her warm thanks.” _
