MEETING 01' HOARD.(By Telegraph— Press Association). AVFXIJXCTOX. January 18. The Rural Intermediate Credit Hoard met this weelc. The report. ol‘ the Commissioner showed that now Associations were being formed at Alatnura, Southland, and Ruawai, North Auckland. A ifurther number of dairy companics had requested the Hoard to investigate their financial position in order that their guarantees might be accepted for loans to suppliers. Twenty co-operative associations now have been formed in all ; and the full benefit of the preliminary organisation work should he felt this year. Funds were available to enable the Hoard to meet all calls on it lor financial assistance. An excellent season is enabling dairy farmers who have obtained assistance from the Hoard to repay instalments without difficulty.
