The tragedy of the Smith twins is referred to by the “Lancet,” which hears out the statements of promising lives cut short. “Their work ’seemed to ho of miicli promise, and their contributions to the literature of radium tliereapy had already lieguti to attract attention. A book which they published- in 1927 'was useful, especially Decause it showed the necessary for collaboration between surgeon and radiologist. . There was reason to hope that increasing experience of indium would enable them to produce valuable work.”
