PROHIBITION OF CHRISTMAS DISPLAYS. LONDON, Dec. IS. The Times Riga correspondent states that because the prohibition of Christmas shop window displays is wide!., ignored, the Soviet authorities inflicted heavy lines, and threatened more drastic penalties if the lines were inolfective.
