The following Committees were then set up:— Finance Committee—The Executin' (3favor, chairman) ; to include also all Chairman of Sectional Committees. Reception and Accommodation Committee—To meet trains, etc., mid arrange all billeting:—.Messrs Jeff; • (chair), Braddon, McGregor. I.akin, and Hennan. .Mr Coles secretary. Luncheon and Picnic to bake.— .Messrs Duff (chair), Armstrong, King. Heinz, Coulson. Lynn; (ladies to bo invited to join also). -Mr Evans, secretary. Dance and Socials—Messrs L. Doss (chair), Lawn, Findlay, Davidson. Williams, Stapleton ; (ladies to assist). ,T. W. M.orris and 1L Paterson, joint lion, secretaries. Ground Committee.—Messrs Mclntosh (chair), Braddon, W. Gaylor. Chesterman, and A. Thompson. Mr G. Lakin, secretary. Transport (lake and motor trips)— Dr Teichelmanu (chair), Messrs Elcock, Duff, D. P. Stuart, and 1L J. Appleton, secretary. GENERAL. Mr Coles was appointed Treasurer to the fund. The question of preparing an illustrated sheet Of local scenic attractions to send to all Brigades, containing all particulars *of motor tours, etc. was referred to Dr Teichelmanu to look into. *i lie Mayor and Mr J. -T. Mclntosh were appointed to canvass lor the guarantee fund, two offers of C2o each being received in the room. It was resolved to distribute a copy of the proposed programme to all brigades by the next mail. Matters in connection with the rights for Cass Square and other details were discussed and action arranged for.

Tt was resolved to call a meeting at an early date oif ladies willing to assist in tlie general functions. The meeting terminated at S.-lo p.m.
