MARIMARL STOCK SALE
On Monday last at the above yards Messrs AAA Jeffries and Co. held a supplementary stock sale. The yarding comprised 35 fat sheep, 56 cattle, and 1 horse. There was a representative attendance of buyers and competition was keen for all pens offered. The following sales were recorded: — For AA\ Berry, 35 shorn fat ewes at 35s 3d. For Leo. Haddock 3 store cows at Co 7s 6d. For F. AAoodham 2 store cows at £6 los, 1 at £5 10s. For E. Herlihy, 2 heifers at £5 10s, cow and calf at £o 10s. For E. Kirby 2 heifers at £6 os, 2 at £3 7s Od ; cow and calf at £6 2s fid; 2 cows and calves at £1 10s each. For a client fi dairy cows at £fi 10s. ‘For Poerua Run. cow and half £8 los, cow and calf at £9 ss, 9 fat cows at £l.O 2s fid, 8 steers at £l2 ss. For a client: 1 ehesnut hack gelding at £9 15s. For n client 25 fully paid-up shares in the Inter-AA’anganui Dairy Coy nt 8s net.
