CALL TO FIGHT POLITICALLY. SIR CONAN DOYLE’S APPEAL. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, Oct. 10 Sir Conan Doyle calls on a quarter of a million spiritualists in England to fight politically for freedom. The law of England has denied spiritualists the right to use mediums. it was a religious persecution-; If the Conservatives were not willing to help, tlieir choice would lie between the Liberals and Labour. We are not going to be despised. Black materialism surrounds us and we must break through.
We represent the young hope of the world among all the decaying forms 'of religions, with which we aro surrounded. Everybody who thinks oi the seven million war dead in Europe alone, must think also that the war came' after 1900 Christianity. If it is urged that I, am mixing religion and politics, what does i c matter, Doesn’t the Church of England. Don’t the 'Non-Conformists.”
