WEDDING BELLS

The wedding was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, Avonside, Christchurch, on Wednesday, 19th, of Kathleen, second daughter of Mr and Mrs George Capper, Avonside, and Archibald, eldest son of Mr and Mrs H. S. Meredith', for many years resident in Greymouth, -the latter a former resi- |p->. dent of Hokitika (nee Harker) and , a sister of Mrs A- Parkliill, of Hokitika. The Rev. Otto Fitzgerald officiated. A satin frock embroidered with a beautiful lace overdress was worn by the bride, with a circular veil, daintily embroidered and arranged in mejb-eap fashion. She carried a bouquet of arum lilies. The maid-of-honour, Mrs Mac Lean, sister of the brije, wore njauve lace with an overdress of silver, bunched at the sides with mauve posies. She wore a hat to tone and carried a posy; The bride was given away by her father, and Mr S. Meredith was best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at Mr and Mrs Stuart MacLea u’s residence in Brittan Stieet, where Mrs Capper received hdr guests wearing a navy marocain frock and hat to tone and carried a bouquet of spring flowers. A navy charmelaine frock was worn by Mrs Meredith, mother of the bridegroom, with cream vest and hat to match and carried, a posy of primroses. On leaving for her wedding trip the bride wore beige marocain and beige hat to tone.
