Before the Coal Commission, exAlderman Holds worth gave evidence that lie never received one penny in connection with bis Aldermaiiic duties. He was Chairman of the Electricity Committee of tht City Council. He had never attempted to influence the Council officials in respect to the coal tenders of Byrnes, Ltd., or Peacock. He had not been in collusion with anyone to prevent the acceptance ol Moore’s tender.
