A special meeting of ilie New Zealand Olympic Council, to-night decided that in view of a letter from the manager of the team (Air H. Amos) stating that he required additional money, at least £SOO. “ particularly if we go to South Africa,” they could not send a team. LOWE NOT FOR N.Z: LONDON. August 8. i..e athlete Lowe is unable to accept the New Zealand Association’s invitation, owing to professional duties.
