In the House of Representatives, the debate on the Address-in-Reply was continued by Messrs F. N. Bertram, Hudson, Lee (Auckland West), Potter, Atmore, Hamilton (Wallace), Dickie, Skves and McMillan. The debate was adjourned on the motion of Mr J. S. Dickson and at 12.30 a.m. the House rose till 2.30 p.m.
