GRAFT CHARGES SYDNEY, July 11

The Summons Court which is hearing the charges of graft against ALailing adjourned the case till the twentythird, and also adjourned the cases against Arnot, Green and Babcock, AV'lcox Limited, until the 25th. AH the defendants pleaded not guilty.

CHINESE MURDERER. FOUND DEAD.

Wong Shee, found guilty of the murder of a coolie, Li Chow, cheated tho hangman. It was intended to hang him to-dav with Ah Mail, but he was found dead, in his cell on Thursday last with a blanket twisted around his neck, but medical evidence showed death was due to natural causes, not to -strangulation. Wong Shoo had been fading during the last two weeks.
