HOBART WORKERS’ ATTITUDE. HOBART, Nov. 22.

The watersiders have notified the shipowners of their intention to put no overtime instructions into force.

The waterside workers’ overtime strike so far has affected Sydney shipping little, though it is expected that it will be felt more in a few days.

The owners have adopted the attitude of meeting the situation as best they can by employing a maximum number of men during the day shift.

As a result of the overtime strike, several oversea steamers are delayed at Sydney and in the inter-State trade a number of firms were compelled to limit the space allotted to cargo. MELBOURNE, Nov. 23. The Waterside Workers’ Federation claims there are now three disputes involved in the overtime strikes. Exception is taken because Judge Heeby refused to bear the claims of the federation ; second, a dispute has arisen owing to demands of Tasmanian mem hers that they are entitled to the work of loading and unloading cargo at "crtain ports, which have not been accepted, and another dispute has arisen in the rest of Australia between the Federation and Australian Workers’ Union, because it is claimed members of the Australian Workers’ Union are performing works which belongs to the Waters filers’ Federation.
