One of the most novel rerpiests ever made to a New South Wales AgentGeneral, comes from the Greek Legation, asking for three thousand tons of Canberra wheat seed, with the objeet of providing work and crops for the Greek refugees driven out of Asia (luring the wartime. The Legation last year asked Lord Chelmsford for an order of two thousand tons. He replied that it was oyer late, hut requested permission to place the order in 1927. No more was heard about it until to-day’s request. It is most unlikely that it can ho fulfilled at present.
