BREAKING AND ENTERING

■WELLINGTON, Aug. 31. Arrested after a scuffle at night in a shop in Manners Street on Monday week, two labourers, William Murphy, alias Tyler, and Joseph Nicholls, aliases Emmerson and Cooper, were charged before Mr Page S.M., to-day, with breaking and entering, with intent to commit crime. They pleaded guilty and were committed for sentence.
