EVF.RYBODYS* PICTURES

CHARLES RAY AXD PAULINE STARKE—TO-NIGHT.

diaries Ray and Pauline Starke are brought together for the first time in one picture in “ Bright Lights,’’ a, .Met ro-Goldwyn-Alayer attraction which will he shown at the Princess Theatre to-night. The combination is an ideal one, and the eo-featuring of the stars •serves to illuminate more brightly their respective performances. Ray again plays the lovable, bashful hero—the type that won him his greatest screen success. There is no other actor on the screen who can essay this type oi role so brilliantly as Ray. r Jhe part of Tom Corbin gives him an opportunity to display his wonderful talent for drama, and his comedy scenes are the best that he has ever clone. Pauline Starke in the role of a night club dancer gives a memorable performance, in vivid contrast to the type of part she has portayed in other films. Her rather wordly role is an excellent foil for Air Ray, and their scenes together are delightful. She shows a marked aptitude for dancing, and exhibits an energy and vitality that will add many to her large following. Lilyan Tashmnn, Lawford Davidson, Ned Sparkes, and Eugenie Resserer complete the hriiliant cast. TJiis picture was directed by Robert /. Leonard, and is the finest of his many wonderful productions. A scenic, topical and comedy will also bo shown to-night.

On Monday next James Ollivcr Curwood’s famous story “ The Ancient Highway,” will he presented for one night only.
