TOWN HALL PICTURES. TO-NIGHT AT 8.30. At the Town Hall to-night (Saturday) at P-30 will he presented “Salty Saunders, a stirring story of Saunders ( itv a s.ui-dl cattle town on the Tox'.is border, in a stale of great unrest owing to the rustling of cattle. Judd Rowell, the District Attorney, some time previous to the opening of the story had tried and convicted Rudd Wheeler for the murder of one of Ins oldest friends. The son of the murdered man Res Saunders, is one of the most respected of tho Rangers and has been detailed off to investigate into the trouble and firing the guilty parties to trial. Rudd M heeler has been 'appointed foreman of the Flying X Ranch owned by Sid Hampton. Saunders goes direct to the ranch and applies to Wheeler for a job. \\ heeler engages him instantly and nick-names him ‘‘Salty.” It is just, the close of the round-up season and Sid Hampton's niece rides "ot to ce the last of round up. . . She sends the black serving woman out'to bring him and Betty is surprised to find her rescuer. Wheeler comes in during the interview and is so enraged in seeing Salty mi the premises, that a fi d" t\l,-ri place and the result is that Salty kicks 'Wheeler out. The next night there is a dance arranged and Rettv and Saunders go together. During the evening Saunders overhears a conversation which proves to him that Wheeler i.s tho cattle rustler ‘and has a scheme on foot whereby he is going to drive a mob of rattle across the border the following night. It turns out that Hampton is the gangster and Wheeler i= only the oatspaw The story nnentansrlos itself and Saunders and Rottv decide to satisfactorily adjust matters through matrimony.
