fiKHMAX CABINET. BERLIN'. Jan. 28. The new German Cabinet is announced. It consist of the following: Chancellor—Ur Marx. Minister of Finance—Herr Koehler (Centre Party). Minister of Foreign Affairs— Herr Strescmann (German People’s Party). Minister of Defence—Hen- Dossier (Independent). Vice-Ch-'.incellor and Minister of the Interior—Herr Hergt (German National Party). The Ministries of Justice and Communications and Agriculture have been secured by the German Nationalists: the Labour Ministry by the Centre Party: the Economics Ministry by the German People's Party; and the Tolegrapbs Ministry by the Bavarian People’:; Purtv. Paris. j«n. 29. The French newspapers unanimously hail the new German Cabinet a s being the most reactionary political complexion of anv since the war. BERLIN", Jan. 29. The official publication of the new Cabinet has been postponed because the Coalition Parties have not vet .sanctioned it. The Centre Party is objecting to the Nationalists, whose inclusion it regards as too reactionary, especially that of Hergt, an ardent Monarchist. Nevertheless it is stated that no change in the foreign policy is likely.
