Champion (■Christchurch) winning by CO yards from R. Webster (Auckland), xxho besides being second returned the fastest time. Enright, (scr.) 'lhr. 29min. Asee. 0; Dchoree (Amin.) lhr. 36m in. 54sec. 7. Champion swam strongly all the xvay and he won with plenty in band. Webster, win came second and got fastest time is 19 years of age and is a well fried distance sxvimmer.
