The Maori Advisory Board lias prepared a shield decorated with symbolic Maori carvings for presentation to the French Rugby Federation in commemoration of its invitation to send a Maori team to France. As the offer lias met with considerable appreciation, its approval is nob likely to l>e withheld. The shield will probably lie forwarded through the High Commissioner.
