Yesterday the audiences included many country visitors, some of whom arrived :u the Exhibition for the first time that morning. To-day four ti I in.-, will be screened for the last time, one oj which is to be repaid to-dav by special request, ft is “.Milford Sound” a scenic picture of rare beauty, land its inclusion in the programme will greatly enlarge the audiences. Tho remaining pictures are: “The Banana Industry in Queensland,” an educational film, “.Modern Lighting,” an English production that should not he missed, land another well-known scenic film “Stewart Island.’’
From 3 to -I o’clock yesterday afternoon DrE. Tcichelinani), the prominent expert on the scenery of the West Coast, which he believes to be second to none, lectured in the Kincina FTall before a large and appreciative attendance. The doctor was assisted by inriuy beautiful lantern slides of West Coast scenes, and in interesting fashion he carried his hearers through the beautiful valleys, gorges, and all the scenic wonderlands of the coast. The lecture was given on previous occasions at the Exhibition, hut so great was its popularity that Dr Teichelmann responded to ii pressing rerpiest for its repetition.
