ARAHUHA FAT STOCK SALE. At yesterday’s fixture in the above yards our entry comprised 15 head of cattle, all but three being heifers and cows. The quality was good, the weights ranging from lights to medium. Competition was hardly as ac tive as the fixture on Monday week and prices showed an easing off. Houston and Co report:— The special ’Xmas sale of fat stock Wiis held at Arahura Yards yesterday our entry ((insisting of 70 prime wethers and 52 fat cattle. The usual buyers were in attendance and competition was good throughout the sale. As was to l.e expected prices were slightly easier than those ruling at tho previous sale a week ago. nevertheless the sale was an exceptionally good one for this period of the year. Prime medium weight ox and heifer realized about -15 s per bundled, heavy ox Ids and cow beef from .'l2s to Ids according to quality. The following were our sales:—On account of T.
