I’rom Department, of Health asking to he advised of the name of the certificated nurse at Airs Halliday's home. Received and supplied. prom Public Trust. Office notifying increase of interest on local bodies deposits, of one quarter per cent..- Received. Prom Otago Hospital Board, notilving charge f. r maintenance of patients outside the di-.triet would in future be 12s tier day. Received. Prom same notifying admission of a patient from the Westland District. Received. Prom Buller Board stating the Board supplies material for uniforms, aprons etc. Reeieved. From W. J. Beiiyon, K'umara, forwarding names of meinliers of Druids Lodge, Kumara. - Received. From Greymoiith Board regretting misdirection id' correspondence and retiring to a charge for maiuteiianee of Westland resident. Received. From A. W. From Joseph Berry resigning position as Wardsnian at AVestlaml Hospital. Received ami accepted. From Nurse X. Harrington resigning position at Westland Hospital. Received and accepted. November, 20 males. Iti females - 12; in hospital fur over two months. II males, 0 females 17. Received. The Chairman moved that the condition whereby the Board arc opts half fees from members of friendly societies is that the accounts be paid within one month from date of discharge, and tin t the Board accept, liability for all fees. Seconded by Afr Davidson and carried. Accounts amounting to £-12-1 Is -Id were passed for payment. The Treasurer reported receipts £770 19s 6d, payments £859 2s lOd, credit balance £655 15s (id. Building account credit balance 6551 18s 7d.—Received. From Hoe.se Committee recommending that Cochrane at’ the Old Peoples Home replace Berry as wardsnian, and that another man be taken on for one month temporarily to act at the Old Peoples Rome. -Received and approved. A vote of thanks was passed to the ladies’ committee who had made a donation of Xmas Cheer. It was re-olved that the usual arrangements be made for Christmas. Tiie Board rose at 8.-15 p.m.
