The Rye-election for Ayr Burgh’s resulted in the return of Mr Russell Moore (Conservative) with 11,001; Mr Dolan (Labour) polled 8,813; Mr Pringle (Liberal) IJioG and Mr Brussells 13. BELGIAN POLITICAL DEADLOCK. BRUSSELS, June 12. Belgium is still without a Cabinet. Tbe latest attempt- bv M. Poulett- has failed. COLOURS FOR BRITISH NAVY. ■LONDON, June 13. The King has approved of colours for the Navy, corresponding to tbe King’s Colours for the Army. The Navy colours will l>e a white ensign of silk with the Crown and Royal Cypher super imposed. When carried ashore it will be treated similarly to the King’s colours of a regiment. NEW AMBASSADOR. TOIvIO, June 12. Turkey approves of Torikichi Obata’s umbaskadorship for Japan at Constantinople, and his formal appointment will he announced shortly. LATE MR- WIGNALL, M.P. LONDON, June 13. The ‘ Daily Herald” states Mr Collies. the West Australian Premier, cabled from France expressing sympathy with the Labour Party in the loss of the Commoner, Mr Wignall.
