BIG INCH EASE THIS YEAR. AUCKLAND, July 27. Fifty motor vehicles are being impel ted into New Zealand every day. That was tile average rate of importation for the half-year ended June 3()th. last. Tin* rate of increa.se, compared with the corresponding six months of last year, i.s 22 a week. A notable recoid for this year i.s already assured, t'p to June 30th. the importation of motor vehicles lias averaged 333 a week, making an aggregate of 1)332 for the jeriod, the total value being £1 .003.2311. Similar importations for tin* same* period of last year totalled 3087, valued itt £1.003,40'.). Tints then* is this year already a gain of 3743 motor vehicles, tepi'esi-ntin gan additional expenditure throughout the Dominion of £000,121.
