SECOND DAY’S RESULTS

The second day of the Auckland Trotting Club’s summer'meeting was ■held in fine weather and before a large crowd. The racing was good, the Summer Handicap in particular providing a line contest. The tote put through £57,289 as against £52,(559 on the second day at last summer meeting.
Oak Handicap.—Mintonotte 1, Fairha ini 2, AVild Nut 3. Won hy threequarters of a length. Time 3.50 3-5. Tramway Handicap.—Ekeranei 1, Reveille 2, Plain Peter 3. AA’on hy six lengths. Time 3.2. Summer Handicap.—Comedy Chief 1, Gold Girl 2, Rnngitatn Lass 3. AA’on bv one and a half lengths. Time 4.37 2-5. Dominion Handicap—Teawa 1, Queen Pirate 2, Salamander 3. AA’on by one and a half lengths. Time 2.21. Epsom Trot. —AA'ild Lad 1, Overrate 2, I leva 3. AA’on hy eight lengths. Time 4.49. Ranfurlv Handicap.—Manuka Park 1, Steel Bell 2, Miss Rolfe 3. Won hy half a length. Time 2.57. Xmas Handicap.—Grattan Abbey 1, Bronze Patch 2, AVild Lad 3. Won hy four lengths. Time 4.4(5 3-5. Dash Handicap.—Nita 801 11, Ena Bell 2, Inura 3. Won by one and a half lengths. Time 2.17 2-5.
