In the plebiscite area in East Prussia, the Poles have requested the occupation of the whole area by Allied troops, and also the suppression of the German An. Aval)reuwellr and Burgenrehr, and the Allied protection of Polish Assemblies.
GREAT POLISH SUCCESS.
bolsheviks badly defeated. WARSAW, May 2. Official.—Poles are occupying Mughilev. They captured fifteen thousand prisoners and important war mateiial. The Twelfth Bolshevist Army is almost destroyed. The remnants are fleeing. The latest official message states the Bolshevist defences' have broken down at several points. The Poles captured seventy-seven guns, seven .hospitals and two armoured trams. UKRAINE, April 30. The Polish Government has officially recognised Mira's Government and acknowledged the right of the Ukraine to its independence. Jilsudsld has issued a proclamation, stating that his forces lias ended the Ukraine to expel the Bolsheviks, and would remain there until the ’Ukrainian Government had been established and then withdrew. ' Potlura has issued a proclamation that the Polish-Ukrainiau agreement was established to fight the common enemy Bolshevism, till it is defeated. CAPTURE OF KIEFF.
