A force of soldiers and sailors stormed one May Day Labour I demonstration in the Madison Square, Now York. Police reserves then intervened and 1 dispersed the crowds, who left three dead. PARIS DEMONSTRATIONS. PARIS, May 1. Numbers of infantry and cavalry reinforced the Paris Gendarmerie to pre ; vent May Day demonstrators from marching to Place De La Concorde. Firemen turned fire lioses on the crowd. The crowd twice broke 'through the military cordons.
