THE CONARGO DISASTER. LONDON April 6. It has been, ascertained that the Oonargo was mined or torpedoed Dour boats were launched and one. went away, the other three standing by the ship hoping to salve her when u torpedo struck the bottom of the ship sinking her and wrecking, one boat, and killing the occupants.
NORWAY’S WAR LOSSES. LONDON April 5
A total of 745 Norwegian vesuris, aggregating 1,102,00 tons gross hn\ been lost through the war causes up to the present. Up to the end of March 946 Norwegian Bailors have been drowned. Fifty-three Norwegian vessels wheir. of the crews exceed 700 are missing, and ,it is believed that two-thirds of these vessels and men are war-losses. The Norwegian Legation at Washington has announced that' 19 , Norwegian ships of a total tonnage of 34 } 994, tones were submarined during March.
