DISTRICT RACING COMMITTEE.

- A meetirg of the Committee was held at Greymouih last night when there were present:—Messrs Walton, Bignell, Keddeli, Gilbert, Coates, Perotti, Evan?, Ryall, Shsedy, Smith and McMahon. Inward and outward correspondence was approved. Delegates' expenses were passed for payment. Reports of the Reefton, Greymoutb, Westland, and Murchison meeting were received and the fines inflicted. The reports were adopted.

The following programmes were approved Westport Racing Club, for its meeting on March 17th (stakes £270) ; Kumara Racing Club, April 9th (stakes £500) ; Westland Racing Club, April 11th (stakes £700). Mr McMahon apologised for the non-prodnetion of the Reefton programme, whioh was dae to the faot that moat of the members of the Committee were away. Mr Evans suggested that the secretary (Mr M-. J. Fogarty) draw up a programme embodying the' events for all Coast meetings for distribution to owners.
