| OPERA HOUSE-TO-NIGHT. "THE RUSTLE OF SILK." The Paramount picture, "The Rustle of Silk," was shown at the Opera House last night. This is Herbert Brenon's first Paramount production, and is an adaptation of the Cosmo Hamilton novel. Charming, dramatic, containing a strong vein of comedy, and.directed by a master hand, it proved to be a wholly delightful production. The love of a lady's maid for a great statesman, and her final sacrifice of that love at th© altar of national pride and respect for the potentialities of a great man, constitute a powerful theme, decorated with dainty bits of wholesome hun»or and pathos. The (supporting ' programme is excellent and includes a Mack Sennet Comedy, "Officer Cupid," an interesting Burton Holmes Travelogue, and the latest Paramount Gazette. The programme will be repeated again this evening.
