IB* TELEGRAPB PR.FS3 ASSOCIAIION ) AUCKLAND, June 4. lhe Leader of the Liberal-Labour Party (Mr. T. M. Wilford) gave an address in the Town Hall in continuation or the Liberal-Labour campaign. A large audience gave him a sympathetic hearing, though there, were a good many interjections, obviously from Labour supporters. The address was on the lines of the recent .speech at Napier dealing mainly with the need for economy, agricultural banks, a State bank and settlement.

A motion expressing confidence in the Literal Party and Mr. Wilford as leader was declared carried amid cheers and counter-cheers. Dr. W. H Horton presided
