The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipi rnents to the United Kingdom for the lortmght ended May 17, from Argentine and Uruguay:—l4l,llo quarters or chilled beef, 39.973 quarters of frozen beef. 26,078 carcases of frozen mutton, 35,609 carcase* of frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled 141,350 quarters of frozen beef .mul 41 ~0 carcases.of frozen mutton. The cable also .states thavfc cattle are now dearer.
