DEAD WOMAN'S NAME.

STATEMENT BY COUSIN

BY GABU—?ESK £«S'oCIATION—COPYBISHI

LONDON, May 6. The Daily Express says that Mr de Beilby, a veterinary surgeon, of Hailsham, near Eastbourne, says the dead woman's correct name is Emily Beilby Kaye. She was his cousin, and her parents died when she was a child. Emily spent a holiday of three weeks in August with Beilby and his wife, and wrote from her club frequently. Beilby was surprised to receive a letter three weeks ago saying she was engaged and intended to be married at Capetown, where her fiance had obtained a post. Beilby wrote immediately, asking her to visit him before her departure, but he received no reply.
