DAMAGE TO WINDOWS
(BY TELEGBAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION ) WELLINGTON, May 6." The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court opened this morning, before Mr. Justice Chapman. Reginald Nelson White pleaded guilty to a charge of wilfully destroying or damaging eight plate glass windows of the value of £500. Counsel said accused was labouring under considerable stress at the time and had received three or four drinks of whisky from a friend. He did not remember doing the damage. " The judge said he could -lot decide what to do with the prisoner at the moment, and would consider the sentence.
The charge against Angus Scott, seaman on the Chatham, of assault on Frank Fleetwood and causing actual bodily harm, is proceeding.
