The strike did not seriously affect entries at Addington market.
Fat Sheep—A very spirited _ sale, wethers making 9d alb in cases*j2xtra prime wethers 495, few special 53s lld, prime 41s to 455, medium 37s to 40s 6d, light 32s 6d to 365, extra prime ewes 50s, prime 34s to 375, medium 30s to 335, light 26s 6d to 29s 6d, old 21s to 255.
Fat Cattle—There was a good market. Best beef 32s 6d to 36s per 1001b, medium 26s to 325, extra prime steers £16 ss, prime £12 5s to £15, medium £10 to £12, light £6 to £9. Extra prime heifers £12 ss, prime £7 15s to £10, ordinary £5 to £7 10s, extra prime cows £11 17s 6d, prime £7 to £9 ss, medium £4 5s to £6 10s, old £3 to £4.
Dairy Cattle—Best second and third calvers (springing) £7 to £8 10s, others £5 10s to £6 15s, best springing heifers £8 to £11, others £6 to £7 10s, backward calvers and cows in milk £1 10s to £4.
Fat Pigs—Choppers £2 10s to £4, light haconers £3 12s to £4, heavy £4 5s to £4 15s (average price per lb 6£d to 7d), light porkers £2 to £2 10s, heavy £2 15s to £3 8s (average price per lb 7|d to 9d).
