DRY WEATHER.
INVERCATtGILL. April 1.. The prolonged spell of fine, dry weather continues. The rainfall for March was 3.21 inches, compared with 9.50 inches for the corresponding month of last year. The thermometer has registered over 70 degrees on several days, and .the country badly needs a downpour. '
