REYNOLDS SCHEME APPROVED.

The Harbour Board to-day received reports fnom Mr Furkert, engineer in chief, <sm -yarioos alternatives to ihe Reynolds scheme, which was approved by the ratepayers two years ago. The upshot was that Mr Furkert recommended that none could be preferred to the Reynolds scheme. 'The board decided to invite Mr Leslie ReyiMMs ±r> supply details as to the modus operand! in connection with his scheme, and :a committee was set up to approach .the bank with It3a© object of getting a quotation for raising iMirt or the whole of the loan of £75,000.
