I ,_ (From Onr Own Correspondent). The play "The Private Secretary"' I was staged here ou Friday evening last. Iby the local amateurs to a well-filled house. The several characters were well taken, Mr Jenner Wily, as the "Private Secretary," being probably the most successful, his portrayal of that I part being just about perfect. It isto be honed "that the "company' 1 can be prevailed upon to stage the piece again at an early date. Tlie proceeds, amounting to approximately £35j arein aid of the public school funds.
