DELHI, March 7. The island which suddenly appeared sabove the waters in Bengal Bay in has disappeared as mysteriously as it came, leaving a shoal danjgerous to shipping. It was a thousand feet long and thirty feet high, and is presumed to have been the result of volcanic activity.—Sydney Sun Cables.
