MOVED

BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT

Received Feb. 29, 8;55 a.m.

LONDON, Feb. 27. The publication of an announcement that hackneys will no longer be excluded from Hyd© Park ends the struggle which has been in progre§s for twenty-five years against a law made 228 years ago placing an embargo on hackneys. ' Th© law was framed because, as the law states, several persons of quality had been affronted by" men wearing masks who rode in hackney carriages.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable A«sn.
